Buckner had been bringing contraband into the federal prison he worked.<\/p>\n<p>Buckner started working for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1995. He was arrested in March 2014 by the FBI after tobacco, rolling papers, and $1,521 in cash were found in special insoles that he had made.<\/p>\n<p>Buckner was paid $750 once or twice a month to smuggle the contraband tobacco into the institution. The federal prison system banned inmates from possessing or smoking tobacco several years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Buckner was sentenced to three years in prison for bringing contraband into the facility.
